Mino Bimaadiziwin Lodge print

$45.00

18in by 12in relief print on Japanese paper in copper and brown ink

Mino Bimaadiziwin is an Anishinaabemowin phrase that translates to "the good life" or "to live the good life", but to me it also means to live in balance and alignment with the teachings we were passed on. To me, this phrase encourages me to live in harmony with those around me and to seek harmony within myself as well as I go about the world as an Anishinaabe person. One teaching I keep close me is that no matter how far I am away from my ancestral territory that no matter what l'll always be Anishinaabe and as long as I know who I am then I'll always know what being Anishinaabe means. This also means I work very hard to make sure that those I come across are left with a beautiful impression of who my people are and where my home is.

Part of a limited first edition run of 15, there are small variations between each print making them original works of art.
